About the event
PARADE The route will start with the line up at Wisconsin & Main at the old county courthouse. Proceed on Grand Ave to Franklin St to Pier St to Lake St and end at the Veterans Park. Line up will be at 10am, step off at 10:30am. The Legion Riders lead with our post Color Guard to follow. Others include Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, WWII Jeep, the Port Washington Mayor, Bands from Port Washington/Saukville High School and Thomas Jefferson Middle School, Police and Fire Departments, and much more!
PROGRAM The program begins when everyone gets to the park, around 11 AM give or take. The program will have comments from the mayor and the featured speaker will be Past Department Commander, Al Richards. The High School Band and the a Cipla group, Limited Edition, a flag folding and a rifle salute with taps. Van Ells-Schanen American Legion Post 82 will have hot dogs, ice cream, and soda at no charge.
