CAMP AMERICAN LEGION
Camp American Legion is more than a fishing camp. Camp is a place for Wisconsin Veterans, Military and their families to come together in a safe place. It can help families to reconnect, bring a new appreciation for each other for couples and helps us to heal on our journey to find our own quality of life.
BADGER BOYS STATE
Tomorrow's Leaders Built Legion Strong! It is a week-long journey through a great many things that make us who we are; leaders, friends, students, athletes, and most of all citizens of our respective cities, towns, and our great state. The journey can be described as the most challenging and most rewarding (and fun) experience by those who have already participated in the program. This program is designed to teach boys that the American form of government is stronger and more vital in today's world of struggle than ever before.
LEGION RIDERS ASSOCIATION OF WISCONSIN
The original American Legion Riders were first formed in Garden City, Michigan, Post 396 in November of 1993 by Bill “Polka” Kaledas and Chuck “Tramp” Dare. It consisted of members of the Legion Family (Post, Auxiliary and S.A.L.) who ride motorcycles. We are not a motorcycle club. We are an association, a group of American Legion family members who ride for a cause and have been adopted as a program of the Americanism pillar of the Legion. Whether it is working together on veteran’s issues, participating in a local parade as a motorcycle color guard, raising funds for a veterans’ charity, or cruising together on a beautiful fall colored highway, the American Legion Riders program has provided enjoyment for members who share a common interest in motorcycling.
WALLECA
Inspiring the Next Generation of First Responders!
Why is our Wisconsin American Legion Law Enforcement Career Academy (WALLECA) so important? Agencies across the state and even around the country are constantly in need of quality applicants entering the law enforcement field. That's why Legion Wisconsin launched WALLECA, designed to provide first-hand experiences and insight into the operation of law enforcement agencies. The program is exclusively for current Juniors and Seniors in high school who are in good academic standing.

BLOOD DONOR PROGRAM
Leading the Way by Donating Blood
Did you know that The American Legion is the largest collective blood-donor to the Red Cross? The American Legion adopted Resolution 33, calling for our organization to assist in Homeland Security preparedness - the blood supply is a matter of Homeland Security. The most important part about donating blood is to remember that it saves lives. Waiting for an emergency to donate will not get the blood to the receiver in time. The American Legion, Department Holds Blood Drives at many of our events.
